Toffee
I had a dog named Toffee. She was a female beagle, but not the ordinary one. She was all white with some big beige spots and a little fat since she was a puppy. My parents told me she was my gift when I was a newborn. They even showed me some old pictures of Toffee and I taking a bath and playing in the backyard. She was very playful, and she loved to run across all the backyard searching for the things I threw her (mostly tennis balls). Something that I remember pretty well is that I woke up in the morning and the first thing I did was to go for Toffee and take her upstairs with me, even before greeting my parents or eating something (I always woke up hungry). Toffee also loved to sleep besides me in the couch, watching TV or any movie I liked. Why am I telling you this? Well, it´s not easy for me. Toffee died a month ago. It was a serious issue in my house. Everyone loved Toffee, as soon as they knew everyone started to feel sad about it. Besides, she was my age, 15 years old. 15 years of living her life with us. She was even there every time we changed of home. Every time we traveled, we had a dilemma for where to leave Toffee. I guess that is over. I surely would not love my other dogs as I loved Toffee. My little dogs are only sleeping, they do not play at all. Well, I guess I'll need to live with this issue throughout my life.
